Pasturize and AcreArchive Terms of Service

These terms describe the rules for using Pasturize, AcreArchive, mapping accounts, farm recordkeeping tools, map processing, and map storage. By creating an account, checking the acceptance box, uploading files, or using the service, users agree to these Terms of Service, the Privacy Statement, and any applicable livestock safety terms.

Launch-period service

• Pasturize and AcreArchive are active software services. Features may change, break, be delayed, or be removed.
• Users may receive launch-period updates, new features, or website changes as Pasturize and AcreArchive evolve.
• Users should review outputs carefully and report issues so the service can be improved.

Accounts

• Users must provide accurate signup information, verify their email address when required, and keep login credentials secure.
• Users are responsible for activity under their account and for ensuring they have permission to upload or manage the records, files, imagery, and maps they enter.
• Pasturize or AcreArchive may suspend or restrict accounts to protect users, data, the service, or comply with legal obligations.

User records and source images

Except for rendered maps described below, users keep ownership of the farm records, documents, media, source images, and other content they provide. Users grant Pasturize and AcreArchive permission to store, process, display, transmit, back up, and otherwise use that content as needed to operate, secure, support, troubleshoot, and improve the service.

AcreArchive rendered maps

• In exchange for map processing and storage, users agree that AcreArchive owns all rendered maps created, processed, tiled, converted, hosted, or stored by AcreArchive or Pasturize from user uploads.
• Rendered maps include orthomosaics, processed map tiles, PMTiles packages, GeoTIFF or raster map outputs, previews, map metadata, and other map products generated from source images or uploaded map files.
• AcreArchive grants the uploader and the account that submitted the upload a permanent, free, non-exclusive license to use, view, download, copy, and share the rendered maps associated with that account, subject to account access, security controls, share-link settings, and these terms.
• The uploader will be able to download the completed rendered map at any time once rendered, subject to reasonable technical limits, security controls, account access, and service availability.
• AcreArchive ownership of rendered maps does not transfer ownership of the user's original source images, underlying land, farm data, crop data, field boundaries, or other user records.

Source image retention

• Users retain full rights to the individual source images they upload.
• AcreArchive will not store individual source imagery as a permanent archive once the map is successfully processed.
• Source images and temporary processing copies will be deleted within 90 days after upload or successful processing, subject to backup, security, abuse-prevention, legal, troubleshooting, and operational limits.
• Users should keep their own original copies of source imagery if they need permanent access to individual photos.

Protected company secrets and confidential information

• Users may upload business, farm, livestock, financial, customer, vendor, pricing, operational, trade-secret, or other confidential company information only if they have authority to do so.
• Pasturize and AcreArchive treat protected company secrets and confidential business records as user content and will use them only to operate, secure, support, troubleshoot, and improve the service, or as otherwise allowed by these terms, the Privacy Statement, user direction, or law.
• Users are responsible for marking, limiting, exporting, removing, and controlling confidential information within their own operation, and for not sharing access with people who should not see those records.
• Users should avoid uploading secrets they are not comfortable storing in software services and should keep independent protected copies of critical confidential records.

Recordkeeping, livestock, mapping, and professional responsibility

• Pasturize and AcreArchive are recordkeeping, workflow, imagery, mapping, and decision-support tools. They are not veterinarians, lawyers, accountants, surveyors, agronomists, regulatory authorities, or substitutes for professional judgment.
• Users remain responsible for verifying animal treatments, medication labels, dosages, withdrawal/withholding periods, shipping decisions, financial records, tax treatment, regulatory filings, property boundaries, field boundaries, map accuracy, and all operational decisions.
• Assistant, transcription, import, imagery-processing, map-processing, and automation features may be incomplete, incorrect, delayed, distorted, or misread. Users must review important records and maps before relying on them.

Acceptable use

• Do not use Pasturize or AcreArchive to break the law, infringe rights, upload malicious content, attempt unauthorized access, disrupt the service, scrape private data, or store information you do not have the right to use.
• Do not rely on Pasturize or AcreArchive as the sole copy of critical records, source images, or compliance materials. Keep independent backups of important farm, financial, animal health, imagery, and compliance records.

Payments

Paid plans may be offered through subscription billing. Any renewal, cancellation, refund, or billing terms should be presented before charges begin.

Availability and changes

Pasturize and AcreArchive may be updated, interrupted, limited, or unavailable at times, during updates and maintenance windows. We may change features, workflows, limits, terms, and policies as the service develops.

Disclaimers and limits

Pasturize and AcreArchive are provided as-is and as-available. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Pasturize and AcreArchive disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, lost-profit, lost-data, animal health, map accuracy, regulatory, or business-interruption damages arising from use of the service.

Termination

Users may stop using the service at any time. Pasturize or AcreArchive may suspend or terminate access for misuse, security risk, nonpayment if billing applies, legal requirements, or serious violation of these terms.
